Welcome to our new series, Aimee Georgia Muse of the Week!

I am so excited to share this with you all, and welcome you into the community of beautiful people who continue to inspire me, and Aimee Georgia.

Aimee Georgia Muse of the Week is a series occurring weekly, featuring inspirational women in our community. Creators, women in business, friends & family, designers, and aspirational females who have a love for fashion.

This week, I would love to introduce you to Rose Kwon. I invited Rose to be our first Muse of the Week, as she is an Aimee Georgia customer, a style inspiration, and a sweet soul.

Who is Rose?

I am a 22 year old still quite trying to navigate her life especially coming out of university where I always had that safety net of studying. At the start of this year I actually chose to do my masters in dietetics and continue studying in that area which I always had such big interest in for. It was only up until very recently when I was starting to think what if I did something more creative, which I initially had thought was a passing thought, but continued to stay there until I eventually took that risk to drop out.

So from then onwards my everyday lifestyle has actually been quite different, whether it's working on starting up my small business to working with other companies/brands to help make content or run their socials. I have always been a play it by the book person but its weird to say that for the first time in life I don't quite know what's next but I guess that's what keeps everything interesting!

What are your aspirations and inspirations?

In life, my aspirations are deeply rooted in the relationships that inspire me daily. My biggest inspirations are actually the people closest to me including my beloved Mum, my grandparents over in Japan and my very supportive soulmate. They inspire me in many different ways that encourage and push me to pursuing my dreams fearlessly. They all have similar values and beliefs in "living life to the fullest!" which have had the most impact on me recently especially going through that stage many people in their twenties go through. My aspirations would be to embody the same level of kindness and determination, and always seek self-improvement.

How would you describe your style?

My style would be best described as minimalistic and at most times neutral coloured, Pinterest being a key to my daily style inspiration. I gravitate towards clean and simple silhouettes over bright pieces or loud patterns. By keeping my wardrobe quite steam-lined and minimal with high quality pieces I find that I am able to achieve timeless and versatile looks from day to day! This although took a while for me to create my "wardrobe capsule", I'm not going to lie I used to buy a lot of different trendy pieces realising after a while that it just really wasn't me.

What are your favourite things to do?

My favourite thing to do would definitely be to spend time with family and friends, whether that's just going to a cafe on the weekends, going for a walk, or just making dinner together (all the simple things really!). Others hobbies include travelling especially with a sister that is a flight attendant making it a bit more accessible and just being creative with my spare time such as editing videos for memories to keep later on in life. My favourite spot in Auckland to meet friends currently is Sunset Bar, I find it such a vibe with their pink interior look and amazing cocktails.

Lastly, how would you style Aimee Georgia?

The reason I love Aimee Georgia is because of how timeless the pieces are, they aren't just trendy pieces that you might wear once and never again. Especially with how many pieces of clothes I used to buy in the past and always feeling like I needed a new outfit or couldn't find anything to peer it with, Aimee Georgia pieces are so versatile. I love styling Aimee Georgia in any day to night outfit to not only create a clean look but also subtle details such as interesting cuts, with a piece of minimal gold jewellery. I love finishing her pieces off with a classic kitten heel or even some simple knee high black boots.

With love always,

Aimee Georgia x
